A delightful stay with thoughtful hosts
From the moment we arrived, Siân welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, making our stay feel like home. Our King Room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, with freshly baked banana bread and a wonderful selection to choose from. The serene location allowed us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Donegal.
While the hotel is positioned just a short distance from the town, it would have been more convenient to have a shuttle service available, especially for those without a car. there is no lift, which made it a bit challenging to carry luggage upstairs.

Exceptional homemade breakfast with engaging local insights.
The hotel's location is quite remote at 2km from the town. This necessitates a taxi if you plan on going out for dinner, which can be an inconvenience. there is no lift available, making it difficult with mobility issues to navigate the stairs comfortably.

i almost wanted to leave a glowing review, but the hotel is 2km away from town and no lift! also, a complimentary gesture for my trouble wouldve been nice but who am i, right? siân was kind but i still needed that fan earlier, which made me wonder why they don’t have better solutions in place.

The spacious rooms were a delight, especially the
super king size bed that provided exceptional comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade breakfast options, though it would have been nice if the common areas had been a bit more accessible during busy times.

Had a fantastic stay at Donegal Manor! Siân was super helpful, providing a fan when I got warm, and the breakfast spread was homemade bliss, especially the banana bread. Just a heads up, no lifts for easier access, but it's a minor detail. Can't wait to return!
